A place to share some of my writings with the world. The prime goal is to share some of my creative work, but on occasion post commentaries and random reflections. Feel free to take the plunge with me.

Haibun 7
This Haibun has been removed for submission to Contemporary Haibun.
I'm a Creative Writing Student at Bowling Green State University. I hold that life is full of surprises and mysteries-whether that be from the world around you, or the people you meet in everyday life. Writing and literature are the best ways to explore the grand surprise that is life.
OK, MAY I PLAY WITH THIS ONE? I LOVE WHAT IS GOING ON.
ReplyDeleteGrandpa Floom was a bee keeper. He died of old age-out of his mind--in a nursing home. He once told me I wouldn't be a man until I kept bees.

Grandpa Slabaugh raised beagles. Body of a holocaust survivor, he died of cancer in his own bed with his wife and dog.
(haiku would be an image of this, maybe of the bed itself)
