Haibun 6
This Haibun has been removed for submission to Contemporary Haibun.
I see a young father pushing a cart, a woman next to him who appears to be pregnant. He gives me a knowing look, shoots a quick comment about all the beautiful girls in this city. The woman is embarrassed.

I'm a Creative Writing Student at Bowling Green State University. I hold that life is full of surprises and mysteries-whether that be from the world around you, or the people you meet in everyday life. Writing and literature are the best ways to explore the grand surprise that is life.

Or, you might say the woman looks down or that she looks away. That would be better because it is visual and suggestive.
